Homecoming at Millsaps

Last Weekend it was Homecoming at Millsaps. Early in the morning, Jay and I both had events to run, so our day started pretty early. However, here are the good parts of the day.

James got to meet Mr. Major. I advise Mr. Major and I must say I was VERY impressed by his baby holding skills. He was not afraid at all. James was okay with Mr. Major holding him, which was great!



James also got to meet Mallory. Mallory is another Millsaps baby. Her mom, Betsy works down the hall from me, for the Dean and her dad, Kendrick works in the HAC. She was born in March, so I got tons of advice from Betsy on gear and having babies. Always nice to know someone who blazes the trail before you.



Before the game, we had a pep rally in the bowl, which turned out fantastic. SBA President, Cree was our MC and the cheerleaders and dance team both preformed. Hopefully it fired everyone up for the big game!

Road Trip with Mommy

Two weeks ago, James and I took a roadtrip to Columbus to cover a college fair for Millsaps! We drove up late, after James was asleep for the night, which was perfect. He slept great at Mimi and Papa's. Papa kept James while I went to the college fair. For lunch we all met up at Proffitt's Porch, which is my absolute favorite place to eat. James enjoyed being outside and the pretty day!
