8 Months Old

Dear James,

You were 8 months yesterday! Wow! 8 Months!

Here's an update on you! You are still a small fellow, although eating like a champ. You have a bottle when you wake up in the morning, which is anywhere between 6:30 and 8. You drink between 4 and 6 oz. Then, between 9 and 9:30 you have cereal with a fruit mixed in. You will take another bottle between 11 and 11:30. The for lunch, around 12:30, you will have a stage 2 fruit and veggie. The pediatrician recommends a stage 3 at 8 months, but I am going to wait until you start crawling. You have another bottle between 3 and 3:30. Dinner time is usually between 6 and 6:30. Before bed, you have a "short" bottle, as we call it. You usually only drink about 2 ounces of this bottle.

You sit up really well. We can put you on your play mat and you can play there for 30 minutes or so by yourself. You got so many great toys from your all your aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins that you are never at a lack for things to play with. You are so ready to crawl. I would guess before my nine month post, I will be posting about you crawling! You can get on to your tummy, but from there you are not quite sure what to do. I know it's coming soon, so I better get to child proofing!

You sleep through the night pretty well. You have a slip up every now and again. You love your teachers at school.

Here we are on Valentine's morning reading your card from Daddy.

Jamesy, your Daddy and I fall more in love with you everyday. Each week brings something new and exciting for us. You LOVE your Daddy. Every night when he comes home you go crazy. You have this huge smile on your face and if you are in your exercauser, you jump up and down like a mad man!

WE can't wait to see what tomorrow brings for you! Love you Mr. James!

Love,
Mommy

5 Question Friday

My Little Life

I recently saw this on a blog as I was just clicking around and thought I would jump in!

1. What are you most afraid of?
Failure.

2. Do you use a flat iron or curling iron?
Flat Iron all the way and Chi is the only way to go for this thick mop!

3. Hands-free or phone to the ear?
I do both. Speaking of, I need to find my Bluetooth.

4. Do you have a matching bedroom set?
Gosh no! My bed came from my best friend's mom and I love it. I still have the dresses that my grandmother bought me when I was like 12 and then we have Jay's dresser that he bought when he moved to Columbus. One bedside table my dad made and the other came from target. It's the biggest miss match of all probably!

5. Do you believe in the paranormal?
Paranormal - not so much. I do believe it ghost. To me paranormal is so much more than Ghost!
