Weekend Pics

It's been pretty lazy around here this weekend. My parents came to visit this weekend. They can't get enough of James :) Right now, Jay is holding James and singing to him, which is so precious. He sings anything that comes to mind - Bon Jovi, Farmer and the Dell, 99 Bottles of Milk on the Wall, Meet the Mets!

I promise to update my header soon! No more sonogram pics for us! He's here now! How am I ever going to choose a picture to use?

Now, for some pictures from the weekend!

Two Week Appointment

James had his two week check up today with our peditrician, Dr. Flowers. I know he's not actually two weeks until Monday, but Dr. Flowers was going on a mission trip and I didn't want to see someone else on our first visit! Our appointment was at 8:30, which meant that we had to get up and get going, which is not our usual MO. After sleeping for 5 hours straight last night, I got James fed and then he rested while I got ready. (Did I mention that Jay was at a tennis lesson, so I had to do all this by myself!)

Our check up was great! James had not quite gained back to his birth weight, but Dr. Craig (which is what he told us to call him) didn't seem too concerned. He told us to just swing by next week and do a weight check, even though he won't be there. Dr. Craig was so cool. He let us look at James ear drums and listen to his heart (no murmurs, yeah!)

I didn't get a single pic at the doctor (what kind of mom am I???), but his Dad is so proud, he took this picture because he thought he was so adorable!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On Tuesday we celebrated Jay's birthday. It was a low key affair as you can imagine, but James helped me sing Happy Birthday to Jay.

1 Week Old

James was one week old on Monday! Holy cow - how time flies. Here are a couple of pics to document his growth.

Father's Day

We were so blessed to celebrate Jay's first Father's Day on Sunday. Here is a pic of the father/son.

I am also very thankful and appreciative of the other Father's in my life. My dad, who did so much to help us get ready for little James' arrival. Also, my father-in-law, better known as Pop-Pop.

More Pics

We had a great night last night. James got up twice and pretty much slept. We hope that we have some more nights like this. We are falling more and more in love every day. My parent's are smitten and Jay's Mom and Dad are planning a trip down very soon.

Here are some pictures from today. James had his first spit bath early this morning. Just about the time we got him clean and were ready to put on his diaper, out it comes of both ends. So, we had to start again! No worries! We have plenty of time these days.

James - Day 2

Day 2 came and went pretty fast. We didn't take many pictures because there wasn't a ton of action; just lots of sleeping. But here are a few!
